elegant and safe glass solution
Curved Tempered Laminated Glass
Curved tempered laminated glass is produced by permanently bonding two pieces of tempered glass together with an interlayer or resin. Several types of interlayer film and glass may be applied in the process, to obtain different characteristics for the structures – according to the purpose of use. Curved tempered laminated glass protects from personal injuries; in the lowest protection class from falling, and in the sturdiest class from bullets and pressure waves caused by explosions. Also, Interesting decorative but also functional possibilities arise from the variety of available Interlayers.

everything you may want to know about Curved tempered laminated glass
Due to the complexity of the manufacturing process and the materials involved, hot bending laminated glass is more expensive than curved tempered laminated glass.
Yes! Curved laminated glass is custom-made for each project and as such can be produced to meet a variety of designs; whether this is a complex curve with flat tangents or a straightforward cylindrical curve. The viability of a piece will depend on the combination of glass thickness, radius, length, and depth of the curve.

Curved tempered laminated glass is created with two pieces of curved tempered glass sandwiched between a plastic resin or polyvinyl butyral (PVB). Unlike curved tempered glass, it won’t shatter into pieces when breakage occurs. That’s because the broken glass will stick to the plastic instead of falling onto the floor.
Curved glass is considered a high-end product, too expensive for many commercial and domestic projects so has been overlooked on occasions when it would have been the most suitable glass type. Shenzhen Dragon Glass has made curved glass affordable with many curved glass options that are surprisingly inexpensive.
Curved tempered laminated glass can only be curved in one plane (dimension). Hot bending tempered laminated glass can create multiple curved surfaces in one plane.
